The STARS program is designed specifically for the U5 players to include lots of fun games and activities which involve a soccer ball.
The program is structured around enjoyment, interaction, and movement while trying to eliminate the 3 L’s (laps, lines and lectures).
~ Sessions will take place each Saturday for five weeks beginning September 18 - October 23, 2010 (No session for Columbus Day weekend).
~ Each session will be 45 minutes in length.
~ There are 2 locations for these sessions, one in the North and one in the South. (Locations to be determined)
~ Sessions will be at 9am and 10am at both locations.
~ Enrollment is limited to 12 players per site and session. This will allow for a low player-to-coach ratio and maximum coach interaction.
~ Cost is $45 per player.
Registration will begin July 19, 2010. Please specify your location preference when registering.
Each player will receive a T-shirt on the first day
Players will need to bring:
~ Soccer appropriate shoes (no sandals or flip-flops)
~ Shin guards
~ Soccer ball (size 3)
~Water bottle
