The Classic Division would like to congratulate all the players who were selected for participation within the Stafford Area Soccer Association (SASA) Classic Program for the Spring 2010 Soccer Season.
The results posted below are in numerical order with the player’s initials next to their tryout number. The results of the players who tried out in the U9, U11, and U13 age groups are listed in the U10, U12, and U14 age groups respectively.
Acceptance at tryouts does NOT make the player a registered Classic Division player. All accepted players must register in order to preserve a spot within the Classic Division. Registration opens on 15 Dec 09 and initial teams will be formed in early January.
Players who are on the ’wait list’ may be contacted and placed on teams if openings become available. Numbers are listed numerically, so the number on the ’wait list’ may not be the first one contacted if an opening occurs. For those players who were unable to make tryouts, the Classic Division may hold a limited make-up session prior to season start (communication will be sent out with the details in Feb/Mar).
All Classic Division players must have a Classic uniform prior to season start, which can be obtained through the main office. The uniform consists of Classic jersies (white/blue) with SASA badge along with blue shorts and socks (white/blue). If transitioning from the Recreation Division, only the Classic jersies need to be purchased.
The success of the Stafford Area Soccer Association is is due to the fact we have outstanding volunteers and in order to support the growth and interest in the Classic Divsion, we are actively seeking coaches for each of our programs.
