FROM This ..... to THIS!
The process has taken over a year but we are nearly there! In October 2007 over 200 people rallied outside the county courthouse building to protest the unsafe condition of the fields. After several meetings, The Board of Supervisors decided to move forward with the installation of artificial turf fields.
On December 2, the county approved the funds for the construction of the fields. Most preparation work has been done, including designs and solicitation, so the fields are on schedule to be built for Spring 2009.
